Research Control Room

Research Control Room brings together research-project tasks, daily plans, focus-session tracking, and a view of upcoming Google Calendar events. It is a personal tool, not a public sign-up service.

Google Calendar integration

When authorized, the dashboard reads the calendar list and selected calendars’ event titles, locations, and start times to help plan the day. It can create focus blocks in a designated Research Control Room calendar at the user’s request.

The requested Google permission allows management of events on calendars the account owns. The application currently uses this write access to create focus blocks in the designated calendar; it does not edit external meeting invitations.

Private application, public information

This site contains public information about the application. The dashboard and its research data are hosted separately on a privately operated server with access through a private network.
